Sunny Briggs built roughly seventy boats between 35 and 70 feet from 1985 until he retired in 2021, every one to its owner's fishing style. He was the first on the Outer Banks to build a Steve French-designed hull on Applied Concepts' computerised jig system — the moment the Carolina custom yard met modern composite tooling.
